Diogo Mendes, is CEO of Pixel Voltaic Lda., a spin-off company from UPORTO created on November 2018. Diogo got his PhD from the University of Porto in December 2010 with a thesis entitled “Use of Catalytic Membrane Reactors for the Water-Gas Shift Reaction”. For the past 10 years Diogo has been mastering the business and economic side of the Chemical Industry. As a Shell employee, 2012-2016, Diogo’s progressed through several roles in different departments and countries having provided project management and technical support to client operations worldwide. He was also appointed as Process Engineering Technical Authority providing functional expertise and technical knowledge while ensuring safe process.

In 2017, Diogo joined the HORIZON 2020 awarded project - NANO. In this project he was the Project Manager and Team Lead for the development of disruptive software solutions for industrial assets management. Later in 2018, Diogo joined Bondalti as technical deputy direcor His responsibilities include the coordination and technical integration of innovative projects from early stage opportunity identification to realization.

Bondalti is the main seller of aniline in the European market and one of the main producers of chlor-alkalis in the Iberian market.
