Rémi Costa is senior researcher and group leader at DLR.

Rémi Costa, graduated in 2005 as engineer from Grenoble INP, France. After completing his Ph.D. at Mines Paristech in 2009, he joined the German Aerospace Center, Department of Electrochemical Energy Technology in Stuttgart as Post-Doctoral researcher. From 2011 he was project leader and coordinated or contributed to several Solid Oxide Cell development projects. Since 2020 he leads the research group on High Temperature Cells and Stacks. His research interests include the elucidation of degradation mechanisms, the development of Solid Oxide Cells and Proton Conducting Ceramic cells - including innovative materials solutions – and their utilization for the energy system.
